Elysium

It is said that Duong Lam is hometown of 3 Kings. The citizens of this ancient town would be proud to tell you its history if you are keen enough to sit down and listen.

Our dear friends, should you pay this town a visit one day, there is particularly one house that serves the special dish 'Che lam'- sweet cake and very nice lunch you shouldn't miss. It's the house where we stopped by and took these amazing photos after such a lovely lunch!

West Lake

I don't really know where my love for cities that have lakes come from, but it's always a strong feeling.  I think most of my childhood spending time cycling by the lake surfaced by the mist to school in the early morning explains somehow.

When I crashed into my friend's appartment in Hanoi, I fell in luv right away with this scene out of the balcony and found myself waking up earlier than usual to enjoy the quietness that the sligh mist covered around the lake until the sound of people cycling/jogging/chatting drag me back to reality.

In the mood of Autumn

Summer is breathing its last breathes before autumn is going to claim his territory soon and we are the dreamcatchers in a mission to conquor our dreamland as always!

On the peaceful Sunday like today, fashion flows into us like a smoke of air, a breeze of wind and the light of sun. Away to dreamers, catching up a scene of autumn brings out an inspiring freedom and high spirited. We don't know where we stay, maybe somewhere over the rainbow. But at the very least, imagination is bounded on a strawberry smoothies of the last day of season. We sink deep into our mood and the land of Autumn-to-be.

Lace is an absolute style that fit every woman. It's not only bring out your feminine side but also the hidden charm from within. Lace represents the sophistication of a woman and her sexiness.

Lace is in trend, indeed you can see its appearance & application in many shows during NYFW, PFW, MLFW and not to mention it's an irreplaceable muse for hundred of fashion shoots during the year.

Wearing lace you need to understand a few tricks if you don't want to become a chessy queen of drama. It works best with the contrast concept i.e lace top with cotton shorts, baggy pants, or slim fit pants. Try oversize/metal accessories to balance the soft & hard look of feel. Or choose a bodycon lace dress and keep it simple!

Pastel colors and nude make up with cat eyelines will do the justice! and don't forget to add some flowers to keep you look fresh.

Background story
It's been so long since my last fashion shoot in July 2011. I did have many concepts but unable to make it due to lack of inspiration & time. I've been busy with other stuff since then. Fortunately, some of my friends kept requesting me to set up new shoot. That was when I found my eagerness to do something fun & sexy. In the end, the concept was born & it took me 2 weeks to find a location & a few days preparing. On set, me and my friends had to fight against the hardcore sunlight & hot weather. But still, we managed to work it out, of coz with the help of Ren & Micky.

Colorful work day

Since Alice and I are working in same company...again, we should have more photoshoot, continue our passion for fashion and update our blog more often. iPad plays a vital role to post new article more easily. So there will be more update, I promise!

A normal working day, I was wearing my favourite Zara shirt, cK jeans, my headphone style Water Lilly necklace and my new boyfriend style watch--Charles Hubert.

Water Lily Necklace

It's a special necklace not because I found it in a lovely French designer shop on a trip recently but because the shop was highly recommended by my dearest old friend and during my one week stay in Phnom Penh, it was close so I have to wait to the very first day it was open after the holiday to come back and found this masterpiece among many other fanstactic pieces.

If you love fashion and accessories, you will find this Water Lily shop on street 240, Phombenh city a must-check-out place on ur list to PP next time.

To me, when I find myself a stunning piece, something in me kicking that I want to rush home immediately to find a match for it right away.

I was invited to a 'I am turning 30' and engagement party, tada just perfect timing, I was so excited to dress up with my new necklace. When I came to the party, even a man who less cares about his girlfriend wearing lipsticks or not compliments about my absolutely-unique-necklace that made my cheeks blushed:)

Year End Peace

Dalat city is always beautiful at spring time. This year Tet was a month early and I went home as usual.

The weather was cool enough to wear scarfs and sweater, freeze enough at night to make you feel tempted for hot drinks and then all you wanna do was find somewhere cozy to sneak in like bed, coffee shop, etc.

I must admit I am a lucky girl to have a group of friends who would be willing to spare some free moments in busy end of year to gather with me. Despite the cold, I could only feel the warmth of friendship, the happiness of being surrounded by someone who you care and care for you truely and we shared lots of laughter.

We all turn 30 this year of the Dragon. Heap of plans and dreams have been discussed. I wish these all come true to all of us, my dear friends!

Ticket to childhood

Orange vintage tailorred dress with stocking and a matched color pair of shoes made my first day of Dragon year beautiful and delightful with lots of compliments. This shall be a good year!
